It's been a while since i've put anything up in here but really, who's reading this? Nobody, So I don't really feel bad about it.
I'm sitting on my bed in my comfy addidas track pants pondering life and scouring the internet for apartments I can't afford or won't accept to live in. It's a pretty depressing thing really and I usually give up within fifteen minutes. Hence me writing this.
As most of you will have noticed Valentines Day was this weekend. I really noticed it on saturday night as I walking thru the grocery story getting previsions for the my evening. As opposed to the usual person (as in the number one) there were couples everywhere. I guess even valentines day makes grocery shopping fun for the both of em. Or maybe one doesn't trust the other enough to get the stuff they really want to make that night special for them. Or maybe it's just about spending those few extra minutes together. Either way couples where out in force walking hand in hand, smiling at each other and even the occasional nuzzle when they were waiting for the light to turn.
It really was kind of was bizzare to see (most) everyone in pairs. Walking around the grocery store I felt like I was the odd man out cause I hadn't paired up with a buddy at the door. That's what buddies are for, to make sure the other didn't go missing in the many rows of frozen food and canned goods. Me making sure she didn't forget anything on her list and steering us clear of the other "buddies" that always seem to be going down the aisle in the opposite direction, blocking our path. Going to the cash register together and then saying a goodbye at the automatic doors, acknowledging it was better to shop in tandem than taking the risk of braving it alone.
The grocery store can be a scary place sometimes.
